The Problem
03 numbers have been introduced by OFCOM as an alternative to 08 business phone numbers,(such as those starting with 0870 and 0871),because of concerns that consumers are never sure what the cost of an 087 call is.
The Solution
03 numbers have been introduced so that consumers will have a clear understanding of the price that they are paying to call 03 numbers,as the cost of calling an 03 number is the same as land-lines (e.g. 01 or 02),even from mobiles. If you have a call package that includes free calls to local and national land-line numbers (01 and 02) then calls to 03 numbers will also be included.
03 numbers work in exactly the same way as other non geographic numbers (e.g. 0845 and 0800),except they are cheaper to call, even from mobile phones.
- When customers dial your new 03 number the call is instantly redirected to a telephone number of your choice. This is often your main land-line number and can even be a mobile number.
- Using our complimentary call divert system you can instantly change this ‘destination’number as often as you wish. So even if you relocate or simply want your calls redirected to another number for a short period of time, your 0330 or 0333 numbers remain the same.
